Located in New Orleans, the Audubon Zoo is part of the Audubon Nature Institute. Covering 58 acres this zoo is home to some 2,000 animals; and including gorillas, orangutans, a Louisiana swamp exhibit, and a rare blue-eyed white alligator! The zoo and park are named in honor of artist John James Audubon who lived in New Orleans.
